Eligibility Requirements

Passes in 10 + 2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and not less than 50% marks in each of these three subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) individually

Direct Admission under NRI Quota

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham offers Direct Admission to its engineering programs to international candidates under NRI Quota seats, who had studies outside India or have OCI or PIO cards.

OCI / PIO Students – Foreign passport holders of Indian origin, whose parent/s or sibling also
hold OCI/PIO status.

Non-Resident Indians (NRI) – Indian citizens who completed their qualifying (10+2 or equivalent) exams abroad, with parent/s or sibling holding NRI status.

NRI-Sponsored Students – Candidates studying in India, sponsored by their parent/s or sibling with NRI status (must appear for AEEE/JEE where applicable).

Eligibility Requirements

10+2 academic performance and entrance exams (AEEE/JEE for B.Tech – NRI-Sponsored only).

Candidates who have studied under a system different from CBSE/ICSE/State Boards, should obtain preferably ‘A’ grade (or equivalent) in ‘A’ level examination or its equivalent. Students who have taken Advanced Placement (AP) course will get preference. Candidates should have studied Maths, Chemistry and Physics in Grade 11 and Grade 12.

IB Diploma:
Candidate who have pursued IB Diploma should have passed IBD with Higher Level (HL) in Physics, Chemistry & Maths with Standard level (SL) passes in English A1, A2 or B

GCE/IGCE (UK):
Candidates who have pursued GCE/IGCE examinations of the approved British Examination Bodies in UK (University of Cambridge, Edexcel etc.), should have passed it with Advanced Level in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with passes in 5 subjects at OL with high grades.
