BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) is a private engineering college, established in the year 1946 affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, popularly known as BMSCE, Bangalore. The college is approved by AICTE & UGC, New Delhi.

The college was founded by the late Sri Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah, followed by his son, the late Sri B.S. Narayan. It is managed by the BMS Educational Trust. The college is run by its chairman, Dr. P. Dayananda Pai, Dr. B.S. Ragini Narayan, and other trustees. The trust runs two flagship engineering colleges: BMSCE & BMSIT, and two architecture colleges. BMS Institute of Technology & Management is the sister institute of BMS College of Engineering.

BMSCE is located in the heart of Bangalore city, at Bull Temple Road, Basavanagudi. The college campus is spread over 15 acres and is well-equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and academic facilities.

The college is accredited by NAAC with an A+ Grade, and all engineering courses are accredited by NBA, New Delhi. It is ranked among the top 100 engineering colleges in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), New Delhi.

The Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) has awarded BMSCE the title of “Institute of Eminence.” BMSCE has received ISO certification for its environmental management system.
